ROAD CLOSURE - WEST SMITH ROAD
Tuesday, April 23, 2024W. Smith Road, between S. Court Street and Prospect Street will be CLOSED to through traffic through May 17th. S. Huntington Street through the intersection of W. Smith Road will continue to remain open while work is occurring along W. Smith Road between S. Court Street and S. Huntington Street. Access to Cin Dees and Lager Heads will continue to be from S. Huntington Street and from the west next week. This closure is associated with the pavement replacement work in conjunction with the W. Smith Road Reconstruction Project. Work on this project is weather dependent and subject to change.
On Friday, May 10th the contractor will be installing the remaining concrete roadway pavement between S. Court Street and the center of the drive apron for the Medina Laundry Mat (131 W. Smith Rd.). No traffic will be permitted on this section of W. Smith Rd beginning at 6AM on Friday, May 10th until 7AM Monday, May 13th. Local access for all the businesses on W. Smith Rd between S. Court St. and the Medina Laundry Mat (including the laundry mat) will be re-established Monday morning, May 13th from S. Court Street only.
