Take care of your health and you have everything.

Let the Medina Rec Healthy Medina Overall Health Series help you have it all. This 8-week one hour per week series starts Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 7pm on Zoom. Learn how to take care of your health and avoid chronic illnesses.

Some topics that will be discussed by local health professionals:

  • Exercising your most important muscle - your heart
  • Keto, Cleanses, Intermittent Fasting - what is safe and effective
  • Reduce your risk for chronic disease without focusing on weight
  • How to set achievable goals
  • Improve your health with meditation.



September 7

  • Kick-off!  Introduction to program topics/pre-survey/gathering data – weight and waist circumference. Come prepared to hear about the topics and speakers, how we will build community, and surprise raffles and giveaways! Each topic will have a supporting activity to keep you engaged!

September 14 

  • "Goal Setting Strategies that Meet You where You Are"
  • Speaker: Jeanne Merchant, AAS SES, GFI, RYT, CHWC, Director of Corporate Wellness – Butler Wellness Group
  • Topic Focus:
    • Wellness is not to be achieved, it is to be practiced
