An annual holiday tradition, the Medina County Historical Society returns with Holiday Open Houses at the John Smart House, 206 N. Elmwood Ave., and McDowell-Phillips House, 205 S. Prospect St. The McDowell-Phillips House will be decorated in the holiday spirit by local businesses, groups, and MCHS members! Plus, the Gingerbread House Contest entries will be on display at the John Smart House for you to vote on. In celebration of America 250, admission is by donation for both museums. They are also collecting non-perishable food for local food pantries.
