A celebrity host will welcome visitors and entertainment to celebrate African American history and culture, and to recognize the end of slavery in the United States in 1865

Live music, food trucks, inflatables, foam party, carnival games, and more prior to the Medina Fireworks. Fireworks will light up the sky at dusk as Medina celebrates America's 250th birthday.
Military honor guard and taps, national anthem, laying of wreaths on Revolutionary War soldiers' graves, Revolutionary War reenactors, colonial crafters, musical entertainment, small animals and shepherds, photo-op board, and kid's activities.
Join the city in celebration of the nation's 250th birthday with a parade that is led by the Spirit of '76 and other Revolutionary Wat reenactors, floats, historic vehicles, and more. Parade route begins at Medina High School and comes into the Square on East Liberty Street. Come early to get a good spot!
