Seasonal Laborer (Leaf pick up program)

Position: Seasonal Laborer
Employment Type: Temporary / Seasonal
Schedule: Flexible/Seasonal hours: Typically, between the hours of 7am and 3pm M-F but can include additional hours and weekends.
Pay: $13.76/hour

Job Description

The city-wide seasonal leaf pick up program is kicking off soon and the Service Department is looking for a dependable seasonal laborer to help with cleaning up the fall foliage. Season starts in late Sept/Early Oct. and continues for roughly 8 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Rake, blow, and collect leaves

• Load and remove leaves and yard debris

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area

• Safely operate basic hand tools and outdoor equipment

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Able to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods

• Previous landscaping or yard-work experience is helpful but not required

• Must be willing to work independently and as part of a team
