He will share the story of the evolution of jazz through the early part of the twentieth century while performing this uniquely American art form as a part of the 250th American anniversary celebration. Historic Walking Tour of Medina’s Underground Railroad

Starts at the Courthouse on the Square
Take a step back in time and discover Medina’s courageous role in the fight for freedom. The tour will begin at the very spot where abolitionists Frederick Douglass and William Lloyd Garrison inspired Medina citizens to join the cause to end slavery. Then pass the homes that once served as havens for freedom-seekers traveling to Canada. The tour concludes at Spring Grove Cemetery where four known Underground Railroad operatives are laid to rest. Registration required. Each of three tour groups is limited to 20 people. Sponsored by Medina Friends of the Cemetery.

Walking Tour to Five Locations
Tour groups of 8 to 10 persons will gather at the Town Hall and Engine House Museum and leave every half hour with a guide to tour five second story locations.
