Please be advised of the following Road Closure in the City of Medina:

Street: West Smith Road in the City of Medina, Ohio

Closure Period: Closure will be for three (3) consecutive nights starting on Monday, June 30, 2025 and
extending through Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Closure will start at 6:00 PM each
evening and last for 12 hours, with the road being opened to traffic by 6:00 AM the
following morning. Please note, West Smith will be open during the day (6:00 AM to
6:00 PM) during this time.

Closure Limits: There will be two (2) different work zones during this time. The first closure will be at
the double railroad crossing adjacent to 870 West Smith Road (approximately 2,000 LF
west of State Road). The second closure will be at the single railroad crossing between
Commerce Drive and Lake Road. Please note, the closures will be completed one at a
time; the second closure will not begin until the first closure is completed and the road
is opened at that location.
Comment:
o This closure is necessary for immediate repairs to the two railroad crossings mentioned
above.
o West Smith Road will be open to all businesses on either side of the tracks at all times,
however no traffic will be able to cross the work zone (railroad crossing) during the closure
period.
o Detours and barricades will be set up and maintained throughout the closure period.
