Cemetery
The City of Medina maintains two cemeteries: Old Town Graveyard and Spring Grove Cemetery.
The Old Town Cemetery is located on East Liberty Street and was given to Medina by Elijah Boardman in the early 1800's and is the resting place of Medina's earliest settlers. It is no longer used for burials.
Spring Grove Cemetery is located on South Spring Grove Street and dates back to the 1880's. Burial sites and a cremains section are available in this cemetery. For more information or to locate a grave, please contact James Hjort, Sexton at (330) 722-9056 or [email protected]. The office is located in the newly constructed office facility at Spring Grove Cemetery.
